Janakpur. A protest has been held in front of the Madhesh Pradesh Bhavan against the appointment of Saroj Yadav as the Chief Minister of Madhesh Province. There was also a clash with the police during the protest on Tuesday. 

Dozens of cadres, including LSP leaders Gyanendra Jha and Rambinod Chaudhary, were injured in the incident. They are undergoing treatment at the Janakpurdham Provincial Hospital.

Meanwhile, outgoing Chief Minister Jitendra Sonar Sonal has prayed for the recovery of the injured and urged the police administration to stop the repression.

Chief Minister Yadav took charge of the office today.
